This site map is arranged from the northern most historical landmark, to the southern most historical landmark. There are 40 miles distance from one Light Station to the next. Currituck Light Station is located in Corolla just before 4-wheel drive country begins. It is also the closest Light Station to the Virginia border.
The Bodie Island Light Station is located 40 miles south of the Currituck Light Station, and so the Hatteras Light Station is located 40 miles south of Bodie Island, and the Ocracoke Light Station 40 miles south of the Hatteras Light Station. All other landmarks on this Site Map are situated in the areas they are located in relation to the four Lighthouses. There is a wonderful map by Ann Sader here. This map
